Went to Malaysia

From Feb 16 to Feb 23, I spent the time in Malaysia with my friends. It's quite a while ago I know. But I've been 'busy' since I got back. Busy with cutting myself and being sick… heh
Warning: Graphic Image Below

While I was chopping some ginger, I accidentally cut my ring finger.
And a few days after the cut, I got a cold and sore throat too.. Not infection, because I got vaccinated in the emergency treatment. But for the whole week after that, I've been dealing with it. Skipped a week's classes, lying in bed, taking pills and figuring out what I can do to fix myself. Hence the reason why I couldn't have some fun on here.
Thank God that I recovered right before week 3 of uni. Got to classes and realized how much shit we are going to do this semester, and I immediately feel sick again *dying inside*. Well so why not just take a break and revisit Malaysia?
Our 6 days trip began in Kuala Lumpur.

When talking about KL, its most iconic landmark has to be the Petrona's Twin Towers. This stunning view was seen on top of one of the Towers (22 Feb).
Since we arrived late in the city on DAY 1, the real trip began at DAY 2 when we stumbled around Bukit Bintang and China Town, and later visited the Muzium Kesenian Islam Malaysia.

This was not too far from Bukit Bintang where all the luxury shops congregated.

China Town was not impressive, but it reminded me of what I should remember.

Sri Mahamariamman Temple near China Town, which we didn't spend money to go inside.
Then we called a 1 dollar (AUD) uber to the Islamic Museum.

Honestly don't know much about religion, especially Muslim. Just came here to look at the arts and artifacts which are quit enjoyable, like this sword.

And this "holy bible"
DAY 3 was a leftover trip in which we picked up what's left from day 1. We went to the Thean Hou Temple (天后宫/ 天后庙) and the Aquarium.

Very beautiful temple I'd say

And a beautiful lady saying her prayer ;)
Love the dragons!

The Aquarium was fun.
DAY 4 was the most activities packed. All was arranged by a tour which is multiple-tour-joined and discounted.
Batu Caves is one of the top destinations if you go to KL. We wanted to visit the Dark Cave too, but wasn't enough time.
Right after Batu Caves, we traveled to the Elephant Sanctuary, and monkey feeding after that. The night ended with sea food and fireflies watching.
DAY 5, We left KL for Langkawi, an island at the most northeast of Malaysia. Further north is Thailand. After many days in over-populated urban center, I guess I wanted to stay in some rural peaceful natural place. We had two days of fun in Langkawi, and lots of mosquitoes.
First day was short, cable car and Skybridge and that was all. Second day was more fun. We joined a tour in the Kilim Geoforest Park. Then we went to the Eagle Park (forgot the actual name).
Kilim Geoforest Park is a good place to go.
So that was our last day in Langkawi, also our last day in Malaysia as well. We flew back to KL, had some shopping, elevated to the top of the Twin Towers, and said goodbye to Malaysia and Andy. The three of us got back to Brissy and our daily life.
